What is counselling?

While counselling may vary among individuals, simple language counselling is a talking therapy that allows individuals to discuss their problems in a safe space. The stages are developing the client/ clinician relationship, clarifying and assessing the situation presented by the client, identifying and setting goals, and designing and implementing interventions.

We have a genuine passion for listening, understanding, helping and supporting other individuals to find the answers they already have within themselves in a confidential, non-judgemental space. We love assisting individuals in identifying and discovering their potential and finding solutions to the problems that cause them turmoil in their lives. Our clients improved their self-esteem and communication and changed their behaviour to feel better. They gained many coping skills to use in overwhelming situations they couldn’t cope with before starting our program.

We help and support individuals with a wide range of issues, from grief or loss, anxiety, addiction, self-esteem, stress, grief, divorce, relationship issues, emotional issues, depression and other issues, in a safe environment in the comfort of your home.

We also help our clients uncover physiological, emotional and behavioural factors impacting their bodily systems to reduce inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and cardio-metabolic risk.

In addition, we will help and support you in building optimal mental health. We support you as a whole individual and not just your symptoms.
